Earlier, I mentioned that 95% of affiliate websites fail to make money online. One of the biggest reasons for this is that
they get caught up in things that are not critical to their success.
For example, they spend a couple months trying to get the images, graphics and site layout just right. And while these are an important part of making money online they are less important than others.
People get to busy on little things and never manage to make it to what truly matters.
It doesn’t matter how great your website looks, if no one ever sees it then it can never produce an income.
And keep in mind that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what you feel is the perfect site you may find is far from it once the traffic starts coming in.
Your website will always need fine tuning and once you start getting traffic to the site you can start testing things and seeing what works best.

- For Information
- To Purchase a Product
- To Be Entertained
They could care less about the look and feel of the site that is going to supply that need. However, the web design matters but not in the way most people think.
A good web design should be like a street light, it guides us down the path we want to go but does so without us notching its presence.
We must keep in mind that people are looking to find information, a solution to a problem and an answer to a question, the purpose of the website is to help fulfill that desire without getting in the way. I will talk more about the web design and how to increase conversion later but wanted to talk about getting some traffic to the site first.
